In-office ultrasound
Ultrasound in our office means answers sooner and fewer separate imaging appointments.
Pregnancy ultrasound
- Early pregnancy: confirms the pregnancy location, heartbeat, and due date
- Bedside ultrasound by Dr. Malik: fetal assessment at your prenatal visits, such as heartbeat, position, and amniotic fluid
- Growth and well-being: checks growth, amniotic fluid, and position when needed later in pregnancy
Gynecologic (pelvic) ultrasound
Pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound helps evaluate abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and IUD position.
Is ultrasound safe?
Ultrasound uses sound waves, not radiation. We perform ultrasounds when there is a medical reason, following professional guidelines.
Anatomy scan with a specialist
Your detailed fetal anatomy scan is performed by a maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) perinatologist in the community, so the most experienced specialist evaluates your baby’s anatomy. MFM specialists also help monitor pregnancies with high-risk conditions throughout pregnancy, working closely with Dr. Malik.
