Dr. Malik delivers at HCA Florida University Hospital in Davie. We will talk through your birth preferences — including unmedicated labor, pain relief options, and VBAC — well before your due date, so you know what to expect.
A board-certified physician will be present at your delivery. In an emergency, the hospital’s in-house OB/GYN provides care until Dr. Malik or his covering partner arrives.
Routine and high-risk pregnancy
Dr. Malik cares for routine pregnancies and for pregnancies with added risk, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, a prior cesarean, or other medical conditions. When a specialist is needed, we coordinate your care with maternal-fetal medicine physicians.
New patients and transfers
We accept new pregnancy patients up to 32 weeks, and later on a case-by-case basis. Transfers of prenatal care are welcome. How to transfer your care.
After your baby is born
Postpartum care is an important part of pregnancy care. We will see you after delivery to check on your recovery, mood, feeding, and birth-control plans.

At HCA Florida University Hospital in Davie.
Can I transfer my prenatal care to your office?
Yes. Ask your current provider to send your prenatal records, labs, and ultrasound reports, then request an appointment.
Do you care for high-risk pregnancies?
Dr. Malik cares for both routine and high-risk pregnancies and works with maternal-fetal medicine specialists when additional expertise is needed.
